Paris Culinary Experience for Two: Where Food Is a Way of Life

Paris, France

Paris didn't earn its reputation as the world's culinary capital by accident — in Paris, good food isn't part of life, it is life. This trip hands two guests five nights inside that world, not as tourists but as participants.

Learn to cook the way the French do — hands in the dough, a chef at your elbow — then trade the kitchen for the vineyards of Champagne, where centuries-old houses still pour their finest by hand. Round it out with an unhurried, small-group morning before the Louvre's masterpieces, the kind most visitors only catch over someone's shoulder.

The Experience

  • Five nights at the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel — a chic Art Deco property built in 1927 on Boulevard Haussmann, beside Opéra Garnier and steps from Paris's most iconic department stores
  • A hands-on Le Cordon Bleu culinary workshop for two at Hôtel de la Marine — two to three hours with a Le Cordon Bleu chef, whether you're a seasoned cook or simply curious about the craft; small-group experience limited to 12 guests
  • A full-day Champagne region tour for two — visiting a local producer, Reims Cathedral, and the tomb of Dom Pérignon; small-group tour limited to eight guests
  • A small-group guided tour of the Louvre for two, with the option to upgrade to a fully private tour at the winning bidder's expense
