Patient and Referring Physician Materials on Localized Prostate Cancer

ASTRO and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Center (PCORI) have created two informational sheets for patients and referring physicians based on findings from two localized prostate cancer comparative effectiveness studies they funded. Comparative effectiveness studies compare existing health care interventions to determine which work best for which patients and which pose the greatest benefits and harms.
